From 2011 to 2013 Royal Canadian Mint released a new series of silver coins. The Canadian Wildlife series depicts predators of the Canadian wildlife.
The coins are legal tender and have a face value of CA$5. They were made of 999.9/1000 silver.
The series was released with six designs, each limited to one million pieces.
The reverse of the fourth coin in the series features a moose. The obverse of the coins classically shows the profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Wildlife series is available only in the denomination of 1 oz.
