Even smaller amounts can be hedged with 50 gram bars; in a larger portfolio they also represent an interesting alternative to coins. Furthermore, 50 g bars are easy to trade and make optimal use of the volume offered by safe deposit boxes.
These silver bars are offered in minted form.
Silver bars 50 g Valcambi
The Valcambi S. A. was founded in 1961 and now processes more than 1,000 tonnes of gold per year, which corresponds to approx. 25% of the world's demand. After its foundation, the company was bought by Credit Suisse in 1980 before becoming a subsidiary of European Gold Refineries Holding S. A. in 2003. This had been founded by representatives of Valcambi and Newmont Mining. In the meantime, European Gold Refineries Holding S. A. owns 100 % of Valcambi S. A.
The 50 g silver bar is the second smallest of the silver bars offered. Bars of 1,000 oz, 5 kg, 500 g and smaller, down to 1 oz, as well as Combi bars are also produced.
