1 oz Perth MInt silver bars
Australia's oldest working mint was opened in 1899 as a division of the British Royal Mint in the colonies. Since 1970, the Perth Mint has no longer been subject to British law, but has become part of the State of Western Australia. The Perth Mint is operated by the Gold Corporation, which is also state-owned, and produces the internationally sought-after Australian gold and silver coin programme.
The 1 ounce silver bar is a new product that was introduced in 2023. It is the Perth Mint's first regular silver bar to be decorated with kangaroos, just like the well-known gold bars.
