The Heraeus group with headquarters in Hanau near Frankfurt am Main is operating globally and has been a family-owned company for more than 160 years. KG is responsible for the production of gold and silver bars.
The platinum bar 1 ounce is the smallest of four platinum bars produced by Heraeus Metals Germany GmbH & Co. KG (1 oz / 100 g / 500 g / 1,000g). All bars, but the 1 kg version, are produced without serial number and certificate.
Platinum bar 1 ounce Degussa
Degussa Sonne/Mond Goldhandel GmbH with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main was founded in 2010. Apart from the name there is no link to Degussa founded in 1873.
The platinum bar 1 ounce is the third smallest of six platinum bars produced by Degussa Goldhandel GmbH (10 g / 20 g / 1 oz / 100 g / 500 g / 1,000g). All bars are produced with certifcate and serial number.
Platinum bar 1 ounce Umicore
Umicore S. A. is a belgian material technology group with headquarters. The company was founded in 1909 with the name "Union Minière du Haut Katanga" being a mining company. It developped in the direction of metals and recyclable materials and was renamed in 2000.
The platinum bar 1 ounce is the third smallest of seven platinum bars produced by Umicore S. A. (10 g / 20 g / 1 oz / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1,000g). All bars are produced with certifcate and serial number.
