The gold Maplegram was first introduced in 2014. The Royal Canadian Mint presented the famous Gold Maple Leaf in answer to CombiBars and Multicards. The Maplegram set contains 25 single 1 g coins, which carry individual serial numbers and are sealed in a divisible blister card. Thus, selling single coins is possible.
The design of the coins corresponds to other Maple Leaf coins, showing on the obverse the profile of Queen Elizabeth II and the Canadian Maple Leaf on the reverse.
