The Royal Canadian Mint is issuing its own series of coins in commemoration of the historic Klondike River Gold Rush.
The coins to the Klondike Gold Rush are issued since 2021.
The first motif "Panning for Gold" "shows a gold panning pan. This was followed by "Prospecting for Gold". In 2023, the "Passage of Gold" motif is issued, showing a locomotive and gold prospectors over a wash pan.
The coins also bear the optical security feature known from the Maple Leaf of the maple leaf applied by laser process and the now typical radial lines.
As usual, the coin shows the profile of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
The coins are minted only in the denomination of 1 oz. The face value of the coin is $200.
