After the German gold mark and the series on Unesco World Heritage Sites proved to be very successful, the Federal Republic of Germany is now issuing a three-part gold coin series "Pillars of Democracy".
With the triad of unity, justice and freedom, the coin series focuses on the constitutional programme.
The fineness of all coins is 999.9/1000 and they have a face value of 100 euros.
The second coin depicting the federal constitutional court in Karlsruhe appeared in October 2021. This still symbolises the German nation's striving for justice in democratic freedom.
The coins are produced in equal parts by the five German mints and distributed by the Sales Office for Collector Coins of the Federal Republic of Germany.
