Selling or refining

With us you have the choice between two variants to sell your scrap gold.
You can sell your scrap gold either after it has been authenticated and briefly analysed, or after it has been refined and the fine metal content has been determined down to the gram.

In both cases an examination is necessary, which takes time. For this reason, we do not pay out cash immediately.
This proceeding results in a high level of security for our customers. Realistic remuneration results are thus guarantee, which may even be higher than expected.
Please note that dental gold must be melted for an accurate result. Further information can be found here.

Selling

In the case of a simple sale, samples of the goods submitted are checked. The total fine metal content is then extrapolated.
We refund with purchase prices per gram less shipping costs of € 10.00 and a processing fee of 3 %, but at least € 20.00.
Smallest quantities under 10 grams will be purchased after immediate examination.

Refining

When refining, the goods submitted are first melted and then analysed. This can take up to two weeks, depending on the material submitted. You will then receive a protocol in which the consignment weight, the melting weight, the fineness determined per mill and the remuneration result are recorded.

We would like to point out that melting results in melting losses which are technically unavoidable as foreign metals and impurities burn or evaporate. However, these losses are reported by us.

We refund with purchase prices per gram for major customers less shipping costs of € 25.00, melting and analysis costs of € 250.00, and a processing fee of 3 %, but at least € 20.00.
