Cook Island Silver Coin bar 5,000 gramme
Cook Island Coin bars are produced by different companies for the Cook Islands. Early years were produced by the Australian Perth Mint, in 2008 is was transferred to Germany and since 2014 production has moved to swiss Argor-Heraeus.
All coin bars are made of 999.0/1000 silver and are legal tender on the Cook Islands.
The coin bar 5,000 gramme is the largest of three coin bars available (1,000 g / 3,110 g / 5,000 g) and was first issued in 2008.
LBMA - London Good Delivery List
Both the Perth Mint Australia and Argor-Heraeus S.A. are accredited by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and therefore listed on the so-called LBMA Good Delivery List. All precious metal bars produced by these companies correspond to the internationally recognised "London Good Delivery Standard", which guarantees all embossed characteristics such as fineness and weight, making the bars subject to worldwide bankable trade without restrictions.
