The Platypus is legal tender in Australia and is made of 999.5/1000 platinum.
The reverse of each coin depicts a diving platypus. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin is only available as 1 oz coin and limited to 30,000 pieces per year.
